Milk pudding is rich and easy dessert. It has a silky creamy texture and taste like ice cream in a pudding form. It is made from ingredients that you probably already have in your cupboards.
Milk pudding is basically made with milk, sugar and corn starch. Cooking these 3 ingredients together will result in this exotic dessert with vanilla extract and desiccated coconut as garnish. This rather exotic pudding is awfully good and remarkably easy to make.
Milk pudding is creamy, milky and the subtle fragrance of vanilla extract makes us feel that we are having something heavenly. In traditional milk puddings milk is thickened using rice flour but it can also be made using corn flour.
We are going to prepare the milk pudding using corn flour with a hint of vanilla essence as a flavor and a rich custardy texture. It tastes better than the creme caramel in my opinion. This is a very easy recipe to make.
I am going to make this custard with some full fat milk for a rich taste. You can use evaporated milk instead of full fat milk to get an even richer taste for the milk pudding. And if you want even sweeter and richer taste try adding some condensed milk along with the full fat or evapourated milk.
